During the month of June will be reviewing the alphabet A to Z and the numbers 1 to 20. The next couple of weeks we will be fine tuning our dance moves and memorizing our class songs along with "The Pledge of Allegiance" and "You're a Grand Ole Flag". Dress attire for Graduation Night is "cute and comfortable". Refreshments will be served after we finish the entertainment on stage. Buy plenty of film and bring lots of tissues! It's going to be a wonderful night. We have been working very hard and we are very excited. Can you believe it's here already? We've had so much fun! It's been quite a year. KindergartenI can't believe it's that time of the year again! The time to sit back and reflect on all of the things we have learned and on all of the fun times we have had. It's June! It's time to graduate! Before we walk down that aisle with our caps and gowns on, we have some unfinished business. Even though, much of our academics will be incorporated in many "end of the year" projects during this month, we will be taking some tests to ensure proper closure. I am confident that these will be taken with ease. June is a traditional time to approach some safety issues that the children may face over the summer months. We will be dedicating some of our time covering this important topic by designing poster, making booklets, and having discussions together. However, much of our time this month will be spent preparing for Father's Day. It's always nice to take this opportunity to share how special our Dads and Grand Dads are by making illustrations, writing cards, and creating gifts. Some other things we have to look forward to this month include our special Field Trip to the Zoo on the 11th and many end of the year activities, such as T-shirts, Yearbooks, and Phone Books to help us keep in touch with one another over the summer months. We will be doing many projects to help us remember all of the good times we had and to hold on to our favorite memories for all the years to come. As I am sure, you have all heard that we started practicing for graduation. We will continue to practice up to that very special night and I hope to see you all there. The children and I are very excited to end this wonderful year in a such a memorable way. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you Moms and Dads for all of your love and support this year. You have all welcomed me into this class with open arms and helped me guide your children through this wonderful year of Kindergarten. Thank you for the memories. We will have them always!
