Sunbeam Febraury 2004.

Book Fair

Our annual Scholastic Book Fair will be held during the first week of February in the front hallways. There will be lots of great children's books and other items for sale. We can accept cash, credit cards, or checks made out to The Goddard School. Bring your purchases to the office to be rung up. Our teachers will make Wish Lists of books they'd like to have for their classrooms. If parents choose to donate any books to their child's class, then a sticker is put in the book stating that the book was donated by that family. There will also be gift certificates for sale.

Fundraiser

This month we'll be holding another fundraiser to help raise more money to resurface our playground. Watch your mailboxes for catalogs of spring candies and assorted gift items. There are also incentives to earn free gifts and cash prizes! The funraiser will run from February 16th to the 27th. Our last fundraiser brought in over $1700 toward resurfacing the playground... let's see if we can have our playground looking brand-new by summertime! Thank you in advance for your support.

Remember...

We place our special lunch orders at 10:00am, so if your child will be arriving later and you want to order lunch for them, please call ahead to let us know.

Pajama Day

We will be having a Pajama Day on Thursday, February 26th. Bring your little ones to school dressed in their favorite jammies!

Our Show & Tell will be the letter P on February 4th, the letter R on the 11th, and on the 18th we'll have a letter Q Show & Tell. If your address or phone number has changed, please let us know because we'll be practicing them this month. Next month we will learn to tie our shoes!
