Book Fair
February 4-8

It's time for our annual book fair! During the first week in February, stop by the Exploration Room and purchase a book or two! We can't take any orders, so come early for the best selection. Make checks payable to Scholastics and give them to Miss Sharon or the infant room. We cannot accept cash!

Book Drive

If you have any old books at home that your children have outgrown, please donate them to Goddard! The teachers read to the children every day, so we are always looking for new books to use in our classrooms. We would appreciate any children's books appropriate for infants through kindergarten. Thanks!

Construction Update

Our two new rooms in the back are almost finished! We expect the classrooms to be up and running at the beginning of March. Miss Kia's preschool class will be moving into one of the new rooms, and a second preschool class will move in as well. Get Set will also be splitting in two, with one class moving into the old preschool room. If your child is in either of these classes, we will be giving you more information as soon as possible.

Pajama Day
Thursday, February 28

On Pajama Day, all children should come to school dressed in their PJs. We will do all sorts of fun activities, including a performance by Yosi, who will play his guitar and sing bedtime songs for everyone. This is always a fun day for everyone! Please pay $1.00 for each child to cover the cost of Yosi's performance.

Miss Amy's kindergartners will be having lots of fun in February! This month they will be studying dinosaurs, learning some of their names and how they lived. They will make "fossils" using coffee grounds, flour, and salt. Of course, they will be doing many Valentine projects, including writing their own Valentine cards.
